Bio

Setting the tone for one of the league’s more dominant lineups, Springer is one of baseball’s most exciting players. He has become a team leader and one of the game’s most dangerous leadoff hitters, slugging his seventh leadoff homer of the 2022 campaign in June, which was his 50th career leadoff home run. Springer now ranks fourth-all time in that category, putting him in the same company as some of baseball’s all-time greats. Throughout his career, Springer has reinvented the leadoff spot due to his powerful swing and an unmatched ability to belt home runs. Nowhere was this more evident than in the 2017 World Series where he tied the record with five home runs, homering in each of the final four games. Springer is arguably the best postseason hitter of our generation, and currently ranks 4th all-time in postseason homeruns. Heading into the 2021 season, Springer joined the Toronto Blue Jays in a monumental free agency signing that not only catapulted the team to the national spotlight, but has drastically altered the dynamic of the AL postseason race in 2021. Springer is poised to ignite the team’s offense and be at the helm of an exciting time for the franchise. High-energy with a big personality, George also has a stutter and serves as the national spokesperson for the Stuttering Association for the Young (SAY).
