The Knoxville, Tennessee native starred at both Knoxville Catholic and IMG Academy before arriving in Athens, where he has developed into one of the program’s key players. Over the course of his career, Cain has helped lead the Bulldogs back to national relevance and consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances while earning a reputation as one of the SEC’s most reliable and experienced guards. During the 2025-26 season, he averaged 13.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, and became the first Georgia player since 2017 to score over 1,000 career points. As a senior, Cain enters the season as one of the conference’s most accomplished returning players and a proven leader for the Bulldogs.

Beyond basketball, Cain is known for his toughness, consistency, and leadership. Cain is one of the few players to spend his entire college career at a single school during an era dominated by transfers. Because of this he has become a fan favorite and a key face of the program. His journey from Tennessee high school standout to SEC veteran gives brands a relatable story built on loyalty, development, and long-term success. Entering the 2026–27 season, Cain returns as one of Georgia’s leaders and one of the conference’s most recognizable returning guards.
