Bio
Aggressive at the plate and dynamic at second base, Cavan Biggio established himself as one of baseball’s rising stars in his 2019 rookie season. Biggio was catapulted into the MLB spotlight when he hit for the cycle in September 2019, becoming the third player in Toronto Blue Jays’ history to do so. Biggio and his father, Craig, a Hall of Famer with the Houston Astros, are also the second father-son duo in major league history to accomplish the feat. A power hitter who always finds a way to get on base, Biggio is a central figure of the team’s young core and lineup. In the offseason, Biggio can be found in Texas spending time with his family, working out with his father and hunting deer.
