As a power forward for the Dallas Mavericks, Dwight Powell’s size matches his enthusiasm for the game. With a 7’0 wingspan that gives him a near unblockable shot, Powell’s natural athleticism, speed and confidence has helped him become a dominant rebounder in the league. Powell was born and raised in Toronto and plays for the Canadian National team. When he is not on the court, Powell actively raises money for the Dwight Powell Children and Family Support Fund to help provide guidance, education, and resources to help patients and their children cope with cancer.
