Luke Weaver is a right-handed relief pitcher for the New York Yankees, where he stepped into the closer role late in the 2024 season. Known for his poise on the mound and competitive edge, Weaver has become a reliable presence in the Yankees pitching staff. His veteran experience and late-inning effectiveness have made him a valuable asset in high-leverage situations for one of baseball’s most storied franchises. In the 2024 MLB Postseason, Weaver emerged as a star in the Yankees bullpen in their run to the World Series, posting a 1.76 ERA in 12 appearances.

Weaver made his Major League debut in 2016 with the St. Louis Cardinals, who selected him in the first round of the 2014 MLB Draft. Over the years, he has pitched for several teams, including the Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks, Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds, and Seattle Mariners.
