Shaun Livingston
Former NBA Guard and 3x NBA Champion
Shaun Livingston, a three-time NBA champion and 15-year veteran, overcame a career-threatening injury to become a key contributor with the Warriors. He now mentors and coaches at Active Recovery Coaching in Austin, Texas.
Bio
Shaun Livingston is best known for his remarkable 15-year NBA career, highlighted by his key role in the Golden State Warriors’ dynasty. A smooth, versatile guard, Livingston won three NBA championships with the Warriors (2015, 2017, 2018) and became a fan favorite for his steady presence off the bench and midrange mastery. Originally drafted fourth overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2004, his career is also defined by an inspiring comeback from a catastrophic knee injury in 2007. He went on to play for nine NBA teams, including the Heat, Thunder, Wizards, and Nets, before retiring in 2019.
Since stepping away from the court, Livingston has remained connected to the game. He’s served in front office roles with the Warriors and works as a trainer and coach with Active Recovery Coaching in Austin, Texas, where he mentors others through recovery and personal growth.
Born in Peoria, Illinois, Livingston was a prep phenom at Peoria Central High School, leading his team to back-to-back state titles in 2003 and 2004. A McDonald’s All-American and the top point guard in the nation, he bypassed college to go straight to the NBA. Off the court, he’s known for his calm demeanor, resilience, and commitment to mentoring the next generation.
