Bio
After solidifying himself as a top player in the World, Max Homa continues to chase new heights on the PGA TOUR. While he became known for his social media prowess and quick-witted humor, Max has backed up his comedic banter with performances that have had the fans talking even more.
Max’s 2024 Season has brought him three top-10 finishes, including a T3 finish at the 2024 Masters Tournament. He has advanced to the second Playoff event at the BMW Championship in Castle Rock, CO and is hopeful to make the season ending Tour Championship in East Lake.
Max’s 2023 season was nothing short of impressive. Max’s strength in consistency had him finishing in the top-10 at more than half of his PGA TOUR starts. Max secured his sixth PGA TOUR victory at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. The Los Angeles native’s win in San Diego was his fourth PGA TOUR victory in his home state of California, including the 2021 Genesis Invitational and winning in back-to-back years at the 2021 and 2022 Fortinet Championship. After a top-10 finish at the Open Championship, Max went on to finish fourth in the season’s long FedEx Cup points race and tied for 9th in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Max’s qualified for the 2023 Ryder Cup saw him return to action for Team USA after a successful debut in the 2022 Presidents Cup. Max ended his spectacular season with a win at the Nedbank Golf Challenge in South Africa.
Max achieved his first PGA TOUR win in 2019 at the marquee Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow which he won for a second time in 2022. He successfully concluded the 2022 season with a top-5 finish at his first Tour Championship at East Lake.
Max played collegiate golf at the University of California, Berkeley where he became Cal’s first individual NCAA Champion in 2013. He currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife and son. When not competing on the PGA TOUR Max can be found with their dog Scotty or rooting for the Dodgers and Lakers.
