Bio
Jared McCain is in his second NBA season and has emerged as a key contributor off the bench for the Philadelphia 76ers. A dynamic shooting guard, Jared was selected 16th overall in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft.
Jared made an immediate impact as a rookie, averaging 15 points per game on 46% shooting, before a season-ending knee injury cut his first year in the league short. He was named Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for both October and November and was considered a leading candidate for Rookie of the Year before the meniscus tear.
Before reaching the NBA, Jared had a sensational freshman season leading Duke all the way to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. Averaging 14 points per game on 41% shooting from deep, he exceeded the lofty expectations set for him at the beginning of the year. Jared quickly became a fan favorite amongst the Cameron Crazies, who loved his fun and energetic personality.
