The 6’5” quarterback authored one of the most accomplished campaigns in recent memory, throwing for 2,980 passing yards and a nation-leading 33 touchdown passes. Mendoza was also named AP Player of the Year and completed a sweep of college football’s most prestigious honors, winning the Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award, and Davey O’Brien Award.
