Bio
After proving himself as a key contributor in his rookie season with the Philadelphia 76ers, Jared McCain joined the Oklahoma City Thunder in February 2026. A dynamic shooting guard, Jared was selected 16th overall in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft. He made an immediate impression as a rookie, averaging 15 points per game on 46% shooting before a season-ending knee injury cut his debut campaign short.
During that stretch, he earned Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month honors for both October and November and was widely viewed as a leading Rookie of the Year candidate prior to the meniscus tear.
Before entering the NBA, Jared delivered a standout freshman season at Duke, leading the Blue Devils to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. Averaging 14 points per game while shooting 41% from beyond the arc, he exceeded the high expectations placed on him and became a fan favorite among the Cameron Crazies thanks to his energy and personality.
