Justin Herbert
NFL Quarterback, Los Angeles Chargers
Justin Herbert, starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Chargers and the 2020 Offensive Rookie of the Year, is known across the league for his relentless competitiveness and clutch playmaking ability.
Bio
Known for his explosive release and precision in the pocket, Justin Herbert is by far one of the most exciting players in the NFL. During the 2020 season, Herbert had one of the most prolific rookie performances in league history as he broke almost every conceivable rookie passing record including most passing yards, most passing touchdowns and most completions. He was awarded the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2020.
Selected by the Los Angeles Chargers with the sixth overall pick, Herbert quickly garnered national recognition as a relentless playmaker in clutch situations and was named NFL Rookie of the Week nine times and Offensive Rookie of the Month twice.
Prior to entering the league, Herbert was arguably the most valuable player at the University of Oregon where he was the 2020 Rose Bowl Champion and named Rose Bowl Offensive MVP. Poised beyond his years, he is known for his patience and his academic achievements including being named the 30th recipient of The William V. Cambell Trophy.
Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, Herbert spends his down time with his family and friends playing golf and fishing.
