Bio
Khris Middleton is a forward for the Washington Wizards, celebrated for his veteran leadership and elite scoring ability. He holds the Bucks franchise record for 3-point field goals made and ranks third on the Bucks’ all-time scoring list, behind only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Giannis Antetokounmpo. A three-time NBA All-Star, Middleton was instrumental in helping the Bucks secure their first NBA championship in 50 years, winning the title in 2021. That same year, he added to his accolades by earning an Olympic gold medal with Team USA.
Drafted in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons after declaring following his junior season at Texas A&M, Middleton joined the Bucks in 2013, where he quickly made his mark. His first All-Star appearance came in 2019, highlighting his ascent as a key figure in the Bucks’ rise to prominence.
While at Texas A&M, he earned second-team All-Big 12 honors in his sophomore season after leading the Aggies with 14.3 points per game. Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Middleton was a McDonald’s All-American in 2009.
Off the court, Middleton is deeply involved every community he has called home. His “12 Days of Khrismas” campaign focuses on various philanthropic initiatives, including winter coat drives and community service days at local food banks, spa days for single moms from local shelters, partnership with Big Brothers Big Siters and more. He has made a million dollar pledge to scholarships at his Alma Mater in South Carolina and has continued to demonstrate his commitment to giving back to the city.
