Colt Knost, a former No. 1 amateur and 14-year pro, has become one of golf’s most engaging voices. With a good sense of humor and a clear perspective, he brings a fresh, approachable take to the game, connecting with fans through his insightful commentary and relaxed style.
Bio
Colt Knost serves as an on-course reporter for the Golf Channel and CBS Sports golf broadcasts, reporting for The Masters and PGA Championship. Knost hosts a popular podcast, GOLF’S Subpar, with former professional golfer Drew Stoltz. Knost also appears on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio channel to deliver extensive live tournament play-by-play coverage.
Prior to his broadcasting career, Knost played professional golf for 14 years and acquired two victories before retiring in 2020. Knost won the U.S. Amateur and U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship in 2007 and was a member of the winning Walker Cup team later that season. When Knost turned pro, he was the No.1-ranked amateur in the world.
