Bio
Kyle Korver is a distinguished figure in the basketball world, known for his recent transition into executive roles and his enduring legacy as one of the greatest three-point shooters in NBA history. As of January 2023, Korver serves as the assistant general manager for the Atlanta Hawks, a position he assumed after being promoted from his role as director of player affairs and development.
Korver’s journey to this executive position began after his retirement from professional play in 2020. He initially joined the Brooklyn Nets as a player development coach in August 2021, where he shared his shooting expertise with the next generation of players. His experience in Brooklyn was followed by his return to the Hawks in July 2022, marking a new chapter in his career focused on front office operations.
Throughout his 17-year NBA career, Korver established himself as a prolific shooter, ranking eighth all-time in three-point field goals made and tenth in three-point field goal percentage. He was named an NBA All-Star in 2015 and received the NBA Sportsmanship Award the same year. Korver played for several teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Milwaukee Bucks.
Off the court, Korver is involved with the Kyle Korver Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to charitable causes. The foundation supports various community initiatives, providing a platform for Korver to continue making a positive impact beyond his basketball career.
