Bio
Cheyenne Woods, born in Phoenix, Arizona, is a trailblazing figure in the world of golf. Cheyenne has carved out her own impressive career while advocating for greater diversity and inclusion in the sport.
Cheyenne’s journey in golf began at the age of five, guided by her grandfather Earl Woods. As the sixth African American woman to play on the LPGA Tour, Cheyenne has been a vocal advocate for inclusivity in golf.
Cheyenne’s collegiate career at Wake Forest University was stellar, setting school records and winning the 2011 ACC Individual Championship. Wood began he professional career in 2012, competing on various tours, including the LPGA Tour, and achieved her first major tour win at the 2014 Volvik RACV Ladies Masters. Cheyenne was inducted into the Wake Forest University Sports Hall of Fame in March 2025.
