Rose Zhang
Professional Golfer
Rose Zhang spent a record 141 weeks as the world’s top amateur, won back-to-back NCAA titles, and made history by winning her LPGA debut—now balancing a rising pro career with earning her degree at Stanford.
Bio
Rose Zhang is 21-years old and currently a student at Stanford University and an LPGA Professional Golfer. She took the world by storm when she turned professional in May 2023, winning her first LPGA Tour event and finishing in the Top 10 in her first 3 Major Championships. By winning her professional debut, the Mizuho Americas Open, Rose became the first woman to do so since 1951. Prior to turning pro, Rose won the prestigious 2023 Augusta National Women’s Amateur, followed by completing her 2023 Stanford Season by defending her NCAA title, and becoming the back-to-back Champion for the Women’s Individual Championship. A two-time Rolex Junior Player of the Year, Rose won the 2021 U.S. Girls Junior Championship and back-to-back ANNIKA awards in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, Rose continued her dominance on the LPGA Tour by winning her second professional event – the Cognizant Founders Cup. Rose represented the United States in the 2024 Paris Olympics, and was a member of Team USA at the prestigious Solheim Cup a month later. Rose is proud of her Chinese heritage, where she hopes to make a long-term impact on the game and inspire junior golfers.
